I kept losing this damned page because I pressed the wrong keys or clicked EXIT too many times to try and get rid of those damn pop-ups. >_< As you can tell, I'm feeling better now. OK - So here's the dealy on Haku! He is a River Spirit of the Kohaku River that was filled in and became apartments. He is 12 in dragon years and can turn into a dragon - like in the picture on the left. He came to Yubaba one day wishing to learn magic, but he ended up being her henchman because she stole his name. (Which was Nigihayami Kohaku Nushi), and gave him the name Haku, since he could not remember his real name. Chihiro clings to him as a source of comfort and advice. Strangely, Chihiro remembers losing her shoe in a river and falling into a river and being carried to shore by some unknown being. I am a big fan of anime, especially Studio Ghibli. Spirited Away was brilliant! Haku was gorgeus and I would have liked to be Chihiro flying through the skies with him near the end. (Yes, I know I should get real, since Haku is just an anime cartoon boy.) Anyway, I was nearly crying when he almost died.
Now, let me rant.
FOR GOD'S SAKE WALT DISNEY! WHY DID YOU HAVE TO FUCK UP THE ENGLISH VERSION WITH DAVEIGH CHASE?!? SHE MADE CHIHIRO SOUND LIKE AN IMMATURE 6-YEAR-OLD! I hate Daveigh Chase's voice, in short. She's 14, but has such a babyish voice. >_<.
Mleh, I'll build a loveshrine for Haku and a hateshrine for Daveigh later. :p
